International Students

Students should plan to arrive at Smart Christian Schools on Wednesday, Sept. 8, BEFORE 9 a.m. When you arrive on campus, you should report to the main office, where you will receive a schedule for the orientation program.

PLEASE NOTIFY THE OFFICE. If, because of airline schedules, it is necessary for you to arrive Sept. 7, you can, but only by previous arrangement.

Parents: If you accompany your child to Smart, please note we will have a special meeting just for families where you will have a chance to meet your child's advisor. Details about these meetings and other opportunities are in the letter to the parents.

Students: Your first academic appointment will be with your academic advisor. Please be certain you complete your placement tests and send them and your final transcript to Smart Academy/Christian School; in addition, it would be helpful to bring copies of your high school academic report cards.

Finally, students who are not permanent residents or U.S. citizens need the I-20 form to obtain an F-1 student visa. We suggest you do this soon.

Please note: You must always have your I-20 form with you when you enter the United States. (Never leave it at home after receiving your F-1 visa.) Please fill out the REGISTRATION FORM by June 15. Information you cannot provide at this time can be forwarded to the office later.
